Technician

Your typical hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5.30PM (42.5 hours), Saturday shifts from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. (on a rota basis)

Responsibility for a Vehicle Mechanic

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards
• Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs
• Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.
• Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed

Requirements for a Vehicle Mechanic

• A full valid UK driving license.
• City & Guilds Level 3/ IMI Level 3
• Strong communication skills to work well as part of the wider team
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach
• A genuine pride in your work and a commitment to excellence.
